Accounting Technology at Three Rivers 

The Three Rivers Accounting Technology program gives students the basic accounting skills neceesary to work in an accounting office or department without requiring a lot of general education coursework. With an Association of Applice Science (AAS) degree in Accounting Technology from Three Rivers, students are ready to go to work doing clerical work involving accounting or to transfer to Northwest Missouri State University and complete a bacehlor's degree in accounting as an on-line student.

2. There is a high placement rate for student in the accounting technology program.
3. There is a reigorous accounting curriculum that is coimparable with junior/senior level coursework at four-year institutions.
4. The Three Rivers Accounting Lab provides free tutoring for students.
5. Three Rivers Accounting Technology program internships give students work experience before graduation.

• In the photo above, Three Rivers signs an agreement with South Central Missouri Community Action Agency, the Internal Revenue Service, University of Missouri Extension and Clearpoint Financial Solutions to assist low-income families and individuals with free tax preparation. Accounting Technology students at Three Rivers help individuals prepare tax returns each winter as a free service to the community.
