Our Mission The mission of the Business and Social Sciences Division is to contribute to the fulfillment of the higher educational needs of the residents of the college district and the surrounding area.  The division accomplishes this mission by providing: Programs for students who wish to transfer to institutions granting baccalaureate Business and Social Science degrees. Business programs of occupational and technical education for students who wish to enter directly into employment upon completion of an associate degree and/or certificate program. Educational opportunities for persons seeking self-improvement and/or job advancement. A general education component to strengthen the student's foundation and knowledge and scope of understanding resulting in the enhancement of general human development. Instructional laboratories and student organizations which contribute to student development. Community services which support and encourage the civic, cultural, and economic development within the college district and service area.
