Law Enforcement Instructor
Shawn is a native of Oklahoma. He has an A.A. from Eastern Oklahoma State College in History/Political Science, a B.S. in Secondary Education and an M.S. in Corrections from Oklahoma State University. Shawn has been in law enforcement since 1993. He has worked as a deputy sheriff, reserve officer, private security officer and probation and parole officer with the Oklahoma Department of Corrections prior to moving to Missouri in 2000. Prior to his employment with Three Rivers, Westbrooks was a traffic accident investigator with the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Shawn, his wife Janice (a native of Chaffee, MO), have two children reside south of Poplar Bluff. They enjoy camping, shooting and homeschooling.
