He is a 1964 graduate of Central High School. After attending college and graduate school, Dr. Pendergrass lived in Mississippi for a year prior to relocating to Nashville. He lived and worked in Nashville for 35 years. He was active in community theatre, politics, and community/cultural events. He then “retired” and moved to Piedmont, Missouri. His son and two of his grandchildren live next door. In his spare time, Dr. Pendergrass enjoys reading, writing, drawing, playing basketball, watching sports, and planning projects to do after his next retirement.
