Chemistry at Three Rivers

Chemistry is often called the "central science" since the basic principals of chemistry are closely related to other areas of science. Three Rivers Community College's chemistry program prepares you for success - not only in the field of chemistry, but also in many science-related occupations. You'll have a unique opportunity to gain skills that will enable you to pursue numerous paths to your career goals.

Studying chemistry at Three Rivers has a number of advantages over doing so at a large college or university. Three Rivers' classes are taught by qualified, caring instructors - not graduate student teaching assistants. The small class sizes allow for much more personal interaction between instructors and students.

Studying chemistry and physical science at Three Rivers can lead to careers in education, nursing, pharmacy, veterinary medicine, medicine, engineering, agriculture and much more.

Three Rivers' chemistry labs on the main campus in Poplar Bluff  bring the latest state-of-the-art technology to campus. Three Rivers also has complete up-to-date labs at the college's education centers in Malden, Kennett, Portageville and Sikeston.
