The special meeting of the Board of Trustees was held in the Board Room of the Tinnin Fine Arts Center of the college in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, on Thursday, August 16, 2007, at 6:30 p.m.

There being no public comment offered, following discussion by the trustees, it was moved by Trustee Cookson that (1) the rate of taxation for FY 2008 be set at .2326 cents on each one hundred dollars of assessed valuation of property within the college district; and (2) certification of same be forwarded to the county officials at the appropriate time. The motion was seconded by Trustee Hollida and given unanimous approval.
