PLANS FINALIZED FOR TRCC FALL SEMESTER REGISTRATION

POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. - Plans are being finalized for the opening of the Fall 2008 Semester at Three Rivers Community College, with registration for classes and the first day of classes scheduled this month.
 
 Registration for the Fall Semester opens on Tuesday, Aug. 12 and the first day of classes is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 14. The last day to register for classes is Wednesday, Aug. 20.
 
"We invite you to take a closer look at your community college - Three Rivers Community College," said TRCC Interim President Joe Rozman. "At Three Rivers you can earn a certificate, a degree, and college credits that transfer to a four-year university or college. You can explore your career choices and gain skills that will expand job opportunities and chances for advancement in your current career, retrain for a new career, or develop interests in a new field."
 
 The Three Rivers Admissions Office will have special hours to accommodate registration for the Fall Semester. The Admissions Office in the Bess Center will be open the following hours for the registration period:
 
·       Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Aug. 12-14: 8 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
·       Friday, Aug. 15: 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
·       Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Aug. 18-20: 8 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.

 Registration also will be held at the Three Rivers Centers in Malden, Kennett, Campbell, Sikeston and Portageville. Returning TRCC students may also register online at the college's Web site at www.trcc.edu beginning Aug. 9. All college offices will be closed on Monday, Aug. 11 for staff and faculty meetings.
