TRCC STUDENTS SELECTED FOR WHO’S WHO
Local students among those honored
POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. - The 2008 edition of Who’s Who Among Students in American Junior Colleges will include the names of more than 120 students from Three Rivers Community College.
The students were chosen by the TRCC Who’s Who Selection Committee from a list of nominees suggested by the college faculty and staff. Students selected for the honor must be sophomores at TRCC and are chosen based on their academic achievement, service to the community, leadership in extracurricular activities and potential for continued success. They join an elite group of students from more than 1,400 institutions of higher learning in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and several foreign nations.
Who’s Who Among Students in American Junior Colleges has been published annually since 1966 and is an outgrowth of the older Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges, which has been published since 1934.
