Programs of Study are listed below beneath their relevant Degree Type. Please note that some Programs of Study are available in different Degree Types. Click on a Program of Study to view a PDF of the specific requirements for that program (some PDFs are more than one page so be sure to look through the entire document). In addition to individual degree requirements, all general education requirements outlined in the catalog must be met.


Associate of Arts (AA) Degree


The Associate of Arts (AA) is a degree primarily for transfer to a bachelor's program at a four-year college or university. Students pursuing an Associate of Arts degree select a university parallel program of study with the help of faculty and professional staff advisors.

Associate of Science (AS) Degree


The Associate of Science (AS) is a specialized degree that is intended for transfer into a pre-professional program or a coherent self-sufficient component of a specialized, four-year occupational program. Associate of Science students MUST complete all the courses that appear in the selected program of study.

Associate of Arts in Teaching (AAT) Degree


The Associate of Arts in Teaching degree (AAT) is a statewide specialized degree that is intended for transfer to approved teacher education programs at Missouri four-year colleges and universities. Associate of Arts in Teaching students MUST complete all the courses that appear in the selected program of study. In addition, AAT students must have attained a 2.5 GPA and must have passed the C-BASE.

Associate of Applied Science (AAS) Degree


All programs in career and technical education are highly specialized. They are specifically designed to give the necessary training and skills required in various occupations. The college shall assist all students in finding employment upon successful completion of their chosen programs; however, the college cannot promise employment to anyone.
