Men's Basketball
Welcome to the homepage of the Three Rivers Community College Raiders men's basketball team. We have an outstanding program, having compiled a record of 1140-313 in 42 seasons of existence. We have won two national championships, one in 1979 and one in 1992. We have appeared in 16 NJCAA championship tournaments, with ten top 5 finishes. |

TRCC Head Men's Basketball Coach and Athletic Director Gene Bess is a two-time National Coach of the Year. He has averaged almost 28 wins per season in his 39-year stint as head coach. The Raiders have won the Missouri Region 16 tournament twenty times and also won the MCCAC (previously known as the MJCAC) championship 29 times during his tenure. We have also sent several talented players on to Division I schools, including NBA All-Star Latrell Sprewell, who played here in 1988-90 before transferring to the University of Alabama
