myTRCC Instructions
Three Rivers students can access many aspects of their student records via the myTRCC online student system. myTRCC gives the student access to degree audits, financial aid, unofficial transcripts, transcript requests, registration, student account balances, and the ability to pay on your account.

Logging into myTRCC
1. Select the myTRCC Link
Located in the gray sidebar on the TRCC web site.
2. Select myTRCC for Students
The myTRCC for Students is the gold button located below the main menu.
3. Enter Your Username
At the login prompt, enter your username which is the first initial of your first name and your entire last name followed by the last 4 digits of your TRCC Student ID number.
4. Enter Your Password
Your initial password is the last 6 digits of your social security number.
5. Reset Your Password
Upon login, you will be immediately told "Your password has expired." Re-enter your username, the old password and your new password. Your new password should be 6 to 9 letters and numbers.
 
Helpful Hints
Use lowercase letters with no spaces. If you do not know your student identification number, your user name can be retrieved via the What’s My User Name” function. If you forget your password a temporary password can be sent from the “Reset my password” link on myTRCC. The temporary password will be sent to your myMail email account.
 

Blackboard

Blackboard Instructions
Blackboard is the web-based system used to access online courses and additional web portions of face-to-face courses.  Students normally have access to the course syllabi and material starting the first day of the course.

Logging into Blackboard

1. Select the Blackboard Link
Located in the gray sidebar on the TRCC web site.
2. Enter Your Username at Login
Your Username is the last 5 digits of your TRCC Student ID.
3. Enter Your Password
Your Password is the last 4 digits of your social security number.
4. Select your course name from the list under My Institutions.
You will immediately be taken to the announcement page.
5. Explore your web course
Use the navigational buttons on the left to view various ares of the course. Each instructor sets up their courses differently.
6. Remember to Log Out
Make sure you log out of your Blackboard account when you are finished, especially when using a public access computer.
 
Students who do not have a personal computer can login to Blackboard using computers in the TRCC computer labs on campus or at its Off-Site Centers.

Technical Assistance
If you have technical trouble, let your instructor know, then email blackboard@trcc.edu. Enter "Enrollment in Web Course" in the subject link to ensure deliverability of your message. Identify yourself with your name, username, password,the web course(s) you are taking and a brief description of your technical problem.
 
 
Privacy Protection
Your accounts contain a record of your academic life and should be considered private. Please do everything you can to protect your account. Questions may be emailed to webreg@trcc.edu. An auto-reply will provide answers to frequently asked questions. A personal response will be sent the next working day.
 

myMail Instructions
myMAIL is the official email system for TRCC students. Please follow the instructions below to login to your personal email account.  Your TRCC student email will be used for most correspondence from college offices. Technical assistance is available from the Office of the Registrar at 573-840-9665.

Logging into myMAIL
1. Select the myMAIL Link
Located in the gray sidebar on the TRCC web site. Note: Internet Explorer 6.0 or above is recommended. If you receive any security warnings, it is OK to continue. The actual message varies with the version of browser used. Select private computer if you are on your personal computer. Select public computer if you are on a public access computer.
2. Select Your Settings
At the login prompt, select the setting you wish to use. If you are not using Internet Explorer or if you are on a dial-up connection, you must use the 'light version' of the myMail system.
3. Enter Your Username
Your username is the first letter of your first name, then your entire last name followed by the last 4 digits of your TRCC student identification number. This username should be the same username you are using for your myTRCC online student system login. Your username will also be your email address. For example, John Smith with Student Id 0002742 would have the email address jsmith2742@mymail.trcc.edu.
4. Enter Your Password
Your initial password is the last 6 digits of your social security number.
5. Select Your Location Settings
Upon login, select your preferred time zone and language.
6. Reset Your Password
If you wish to change your password, select 'Options' at the top right corner of the page. Select 'Change Password' from the menu options. Enter a password of your choice and click the 'Save' button to confirm your change.
7. Remember to Log Out
Make sure you log out of your myMail account when you are finished, especially when using a public access computer.

Email Policy
Due to privacy regulation, TRCC offices are not permitted to release personally identifiable information via the telephone or email.  TRCC reserves the right to remove any student from the email system due to unmet financial or other obligations and/or violation of the Acceptable Use document found on the TRCC.
