Payment Policies
Important Information for parents, grandparents, etc. regarding Student Accounts
Parents, Sponsors or Friends of Three Rivers College students should be aware of the following important policies:
The college is bound by state and federal laws that mandate certain privacy rights to each student. Therefore, only public information can be discussed with anyone other than the student. For instance, we cannot discuss amounts owed, student's schedules, etc. unless we have signed statement from the student each time giving us permission to do so.
Even when someone other than the student is paying the bill, it is still the student's responsibility to make sure everything is settled by the deadline.
Anytime a student's account has a credit balance from an overpayment, the refund check will always be issued to the student regardless of the source of payment (parent, grandparent, friend, sponsor, etc).
