Campus Security

It is the desire of the college to provide a safe and peaceful campus, free from fear or concern for one’s personal safety. Although this is a challenge in today’s society, the college is well equipped to meet this and other challenges.

The security staff at Three Rivers Community College are highly committed to this college and maintaining the safety of every person. We take a personal interest in each and every person. Please help us help you.

The security staff in and of itself cannot guarantee every person’s safety. It requires the combined efforts along with the awareness and concern of all members in the college community. One of the major functions of the security staff is to patrol the college campus 24 hours a day, seven days a week on foot, and/or in marked Three Rivers Community College vehicles.

Another tool used to maintain peace and safety on campus–is the personal awareness by every member of the college community. It is essential that you are aware of your surroundings and that you report any activity which seems out of the ordinary. The security staff would much rather respond to a call that proved not to be of any consequence, than to write an incident report after a situation occurs in which they had NO opportunity to intervene.
