Financial Aid Opportunities

  • Grants: Awarded to students on the basis of financial need and generally do not have to be repaid as long as the student remains in school and completes the semester satisfactorily.
  • Federal Work-Study: Awarded to students on the basis of financial need and does not have to be repaid.
  • Direct Subsidized, Unsubsidized Loans and Parent Plus Loans: Must be repaid with interest.
  • State Aid: Awarded based on financial need or merit and generally does not have to be repaid.
  • Scholarships: Awarded to the students on the basis of financial need, merit or on selective process and generally do not have to repaid as long as the student remains in school and completes the semester satisfactorily.
  • Veteran’s Benefits: Eligibility is determined by the U.S. Department of Veteran’s Administration and generally does not have to be repaid.
  • Vocational Rehabilitation: Eligibility is determined by Vocational Rehabilitation and generally does not have to be repaid.
  • Outsourced Agencies: Eligibility is determined by agency and generally does not have to be repaid.

How to Apply for Financial Aid

  1. Apply for Admission to Three Rivers College.
  2. Apply for a FSA ID.
  3. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online. Be sure to add Three Rivers College school code 004713. Remember, no fee is charged to apply.
