
The following is important information for parents, grandparents, etc. regarding Student Accounts. Parents, sponsors, and friends of Three Rivers students should be aware of the following important policies:
Privacy Rights
The college is bound by state and federal laws that mandate certain privacy rights to each student. Therefore, only public information can be discussed with anyone other than the student. For instance, we cannot discuss amounts owed, student's schedules, etc. unless we have signed statement from the student each time giving us permission to do so.
Student Responsibility
Even when someone other than the student is paying the bill, it is still the student's responsibility to make sure everything is settled by the deadline. By registering for classes, each student accepts responsibility for payment of all tuition and fees due to the college. Every enrolled student must make tuition payment arrangements to complete their class registration. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of classes during system purges. System purges will take place after each payment deadline.
Credit Refunds
Anytime a student's account has a credit balance from an overpayment, the refund will always be issued to the student regardless of the source of payment (parent, grandparent, friend, sponsor, etc).

Spring Semester 2012
Payment arrangements for all enrolled students must be made by:

*Your class schedule will be cancelled if you fail to make tuition payment arrangements by the above payment deadlines.
Payment options for students without approved Financial Aid Awards:
- Pay in full through myTRCC.
- Payment Plan through Nelnet Payment Plan.
- Pending Aid Plan through Nelnet Payment Plan.
