Three Rivers theater to hold open auditions
The new theater department at Three Rivers College will host open auditions in August for its first play.
Five male and five female performers are needed to play a variety of roles in the play, titled "...And I Stood Still." The play was written by new Three Rivers theater director Tim Thompson, and follows the reaction of the American public after the September 11 terrorist attacks.
Auditions for the play will be held on August 2 from 5 until 8 p.m. in the Tinnin Fine Arts Center auditorium. Auditions are open to all community members. Attendees will be asked to fill out an audition sheet and read from the script.
The play will be performed on September 10 to commemorate the tenth anniversary of 9-11. For more information, contact Tim Thompson at (573) 840-9648.
