Financial aid disbursement delayed due to weather closings

Due to recent weather-related closings, financial aid disbursements at Three Rivers College have been delayed. Disbursements will now begin on February 21 and continue until completed, starting with those students who completed their financial aid paperwork before the spring semester priority deadline, November 1, 2013.

The priority deadline for 2014-2015 FAFSA remains April 1. All students seeking financial aid are strongly encouraged to fill out their FAFSA and any college-specific forms before this date, including the Three Rivers Scholarship Application. Additional state funds may be available for students who submit their financial aid paperwork before this priority deadline.

Students seeking help with their financial aid paperwork should attend the college's FAFSA Frenzy event on Sunday, February 23, from 2-4 p.m. in the Westover Building, Room 304. Attendees will receive professional help filling out their FAFSA, and be entered to win a state scholarship. Attendees should bring their 2013 tax returns, and their parents' 2013 tax returns if they are 24 years of age or younger.
