Three Rivers offering free firefighter training classes

Three Rivers College will be offering free fire training classes for local firefighters in Poplar Bluff and Willow Springs in partnership with the Missouri Department of Fire Safety. Classes in Poplar Bluff will be offered a part of the Regional Fire School and 1st Instructors Conference on March 8, and classes in Willow Springs will be on March 15.

March 8, Tinnin Fine Arts Center:
  • Drug Lab Awareness (4 hrs.) Instructor CEUs awarded. This class is also available to local law enforcement professionals.
  • NFPA "1403" (8 hrs.) Instructor CEUs awarded.
  • Building Construction Type III (4 hrs.) Investigator or Inspector CEUs awarded.
  • Building Construction Type IV (4 hrs.) Investigator or Inspector CEUs awarded.
  • Hazardous Materials Refresher (8 hrs.) Haz-Mat Technician CEUs awarded.
  • Structural Firefighting (8 hrs.) Certificate of completion awarded.

  • Water Rescue Awareness (8 hrs.) Certificate class.
