Nelnet Payment Plan
Three Rivers has implemented the Nelnet tuition management system allowing students various payment options, including online payments.

Enrolling online is simple, secure, and easy. In order to make the setup process easier Nelnet has provided this instructional video detailing the sign up process.

Connect to the e-Cashier website via the link below. The payment plan can accommodate down payments and monthly payments. Before you click the Submit button, please carefully read through the Final Review and the Terms and Conditions. An immediate e-mail will be sent (if an e-mail address was provided for the person responsible for payment) confirming enrollment through e-Cashier.

IMPORTANT! Call Nelnet at 800-609-8056 to make any changes to your address, phone, or banking information. If you have questions regarding your Nelnet agreement, please contact Nelnet directly or view your agreement online through My Nelnet Account. To access My Nelnet Account, follow the instructions located on the Nelnet Confirmation Notification or e-mail. If you have questions regarding your financial aid award or tuition balance, please call the Three Rivers Student Accounts Office at 573-840-9662.

Frequently Asked Questions About NELNET

1. When and will the funds be withdrawn from my bank account?
Nelnet specifies the date each payment will occur, but it is your financial institution that determines the time of day the payment is debited. Nelnet recommends you check with your financial institution to determine how far in advance funds should be deposited into your account to ensure the automatic payment clears. If a payment date falls on a weekend or banking holiday, the payment will be attempted the following business day.

2. How will I be notified of my payment information?
Once your agreement is posted to the Nelnet system, you will receive a confirmation notification of your payment amount by e-mail or letter. Payments will be processed until the total balance is paid in full. The notification has important information you must have to log on to My Nelnet Account. The notification also serves as a reminder that a $25 per semester nonrefundable Nelnet Enrollment Fee will be processed from the account indicated on the agreement.

3. Can I pay by phone with Nelnet?
In accordance with the Terms & Conditions of your Nelnet agreement, payments are processed electronically. Nelnet does not accept payments by phone.

4. What is the Nelnet Access Code?
To help protect your privacy, Nelnet asks the person responsible for the payments to create an access code. If you should call into Nelnet inquiring about your Nelnet agreement or inquire online through My Nelnet Account, you will be required to verify your Nelnet Access Code. If you do not create an access code on your Nelnet agreement, one will be randomly assigned to you. Your Nelnet Access Code will be identified on your Nelnet Confirmation Notification. Please remember to keep a copy of your confirmation notification.

5. I am expecting to receive Financial Aid. Should I sign up for the Nelnet payment plan?
This depends on the student's intention. Three Rivers requires all students to have their balance paid in full, have signed up for the Nelnet payment plan, or have confirmed financial aid for the upcoming semester in order to retain their class schedule. Students should only sign up for the payment plan if they are prepared to make the schedule payments.

6. Can I change the payment schedule or cancel my payment plan?
Three Rivers' Student Accounts staff can not alter the payment schedule of the Nelnet payment plan. Student Accounts can cancel a Nelnet plan, but must have student authorization to do so. Student Accounts will only terminate a plan if a student's account balance has been paid in full or the student has some form of financial aid that will cover the remaining balance.

Option 1: Pending Aid Plan
For Students with A+, Institutional Scholarships, Pell Grants, Student Loans, or Government Agency Programs. This option is only available once you have submitted all your FASFA and other required documentation to the Financial Aid Office.
