Graduation Checklist
  1. Meet with your Advisor and Register for classes
    Meet with your advisor and register for the required courses. Note: In addition to enrolling in courses, you do have to complete them satisfactorily to meet the degree requirements. (If completing a requirement by way of transfer credit, enroll in coursework at the other institution and provide proof of enrollment. The Office of the Registrar will need an official transcript when this course is completed before processing your graduation.) Once you have registered, view your progress to make sure you are enrolled in the required courses. If there is anything missing, contact your advisor.
  2. Apply for Graduation
    Fill out the graduation application on myTRCC for the semester in which you will earn your final credit. Submit an application for each program and certificate you will complete. The application due dates are listed on the Important Dates page.
  3. Capstone
    If you are required to take the Capstone and have met the requirements, the Registrar will enroll you in Capstone.
  4. Check Your Email Regularly to Stay Informed
    Information will be emailed to you regarding your program status, additional requirements, cap and gown orders, etc.
  5. Submit Your Cap and Gown Order
    Information about the cap and gown orders will be emailed to you in February.

    Exact dates will be emailed to you and can be found on the Important Dates page.
  9. Attend Commencement Ceremony
    There is no charge for the cap and gown or to participate in the ceremony. However, if you order a cap and gown and do not participate in the commencement ceremony, you will be charged $30.
